Fixed Stations
In the ER or OR, or in administrative areas, the use of a fixed station provides direct contact with personal handheld radios as well as our full line of Access & Control and Notification devices. Your choice of direct or repeater operation is available as well as ROIP connection with distant locations and solid state voice recorders.
There are four basic types of fixed stations well suited for hospital use. Desktop fixed stations such as the Ritron Patriot can provide two way communications as well as selective 2-tone paging in the UHF or VHF bands. H.E.A.R stations are in a category of their own. Additional information is available by clicking on the H.E.A.R. Plus tab above. The Ritron Liberty repeater performs all the functions of repeaters costing thousands of dollars more. One of our more unique stations is the ICOM X-Band Repeater that connects VHF and UHF radios to work as a common interoperable system and for those who want to connect multiple facilities via the Internet, we offer a full line of R.O.I.P. (Radio Over Internet Protocol) products. Whatever your need, we've got your solution!
The Ritron Patriot base station takes no more space than a desktop calculator. Everything is provided in a single packaged radio intercom. No external antenna, microphone, or power supply is required. Both VHF and UHF models are available. Costs no more than a handheld radio with charger but there are no batteries to replace - it connects directly to any AC outlet. The Patriot is ideal for use in the Emergency Room, the Operating Room, maintenance office, administrative office, security gate, housekeeping and anywhere requiring instant communications with on-site radios. The Ritron Liberty Repeater extends the range of most UHF radios from a centralized location to provide greater operating range between users with handheld radios. Two models are available - both are under a thousand dollars complete. If you are having problems communicating between users in your facility, we invite you to try a Liberty repeater. The Liberty repeater is compatible with most commercial grade radios by Motorola, Kenwood, ICOM, Midland, and other popular brands that are not restricted to internal programming or designed for consumer FRS or GMRS use. You will be amazed at the improvement in your communications! More info at

The X-Band 50 Repeater is an incredible tool for combining VHF and UHF radios. For example, an X-Band 50 can be used to pick up H.E.A.R. calls on VHF and retransmit them to UHF radios! Many governmental agencies operate on VHF frequencies whereas most hospital internal communications are on UHF. The X-Band 50 can be set up to allow UHF on-site radios to talk directly to public safety agencies on their VHF radios for efficient and affordable interoperability. As a base station, the X-Band 50 can be used to communicate on VHF, or UHF, or both as you choose. If you need a high power VHF or UHF repeater station, the X-Band 50 can provide the power your need (up to 50) watts for less than two thousand dollars! Better yet, no power absorbing duplexer is required. Just hook it up to a pair of antennas and you are in business! Additional information is available at www.usa-radio1.com/prices/repeaters.
In conclusion, if you have a need to communicate without wires - we've got an affordable and efficient solution even if it involves providing direct communications across town or across the world! Our new R.O.I.P. systems use the Internet to provide direct radio communications between radio users anywhere! Additional information is available at
